You may be noticing a growing number of buildings toting the claim of being “green” more and more these days. So what is a “smart building” exactly?

In mid-size and large commercial buildings, this can mean substantial energy use. Of course, this also opens up a huge opportunity for energy savings. Here’s a quick example: Say it was an especially cold day, and one of your clients came in for a meeting chilled to the bone.
